Microsoft MVP Brandon George returns to blogging with a focus on data as an asset

In 2013, Microsoft Dynamics AX MVP Brandon George walked away from his AX blog. A popular site built up over eight years was put aside as George's career evolved and he put a greater focus on business intelligence strategy and solutions.

A year later, that BI focus has brought George back to blogging with his new site DataPrimes. It's still a personal blog and the topics of BI, analytics, big data, mobility, and (maybe) others should still ring true for nearly anyone in the Dynamics ERP or CRM space. But this is not strictly a Dynamics focused blog, he explains. For example, in the site's inaugural, George dives into the concept of deriving value from data and some ways for the newly initiated to start charting their own course:

"Coming to this point of value is a journey I've found in my career. It is not some end point, one specific vendor, tool or concept. It is the intersection of technology and business domain knowledge, via the application of both in how a story is crafted."

George is also the director of BI at Sunrise Technologies. And he spends time thinking about both Dynamics AX (he's an MVP, after all) and BI tools like Excel and Sunrise's intelligence platform of choice, MicroStrategy.
