Microsoft launches AI Content Understanding

At Ignite 2024, Microsoft launched Azure AI Content Understanding in public preview. The new service is intended to ingest unstructured data, transforming video, audio, and images into structured actionable insights through a unified service. 

According to the company, the new service comprises a variety of different features. Multimodal data ingestion allows it to ingest different data types like audio, video, images, or documents. Prebuilt schemas supports building and customizing data, backed up with grounding and confidence scores for extracted information.
