Microsoft, Equisys Release Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2

Microsoft Corp. and Equisys have formally launched Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, a new downloadable document management module that integrates Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 with Microsoft Office 365.

Zetadocs Express is unique among other ISV document management solutions in that Microsoft has chosen to offer it to Dynamics NAV users on a Business Ready Enhancement Plan for no additional license cost. The plans for this solution were first announced in May at Directions EMEA and in July Equisys officials confirmed a release in the fall

Microsoft and Equisys collaborated on Zetadocs Express, which combines the capabilities of Microsoft's Office 365 suite with the document management functionality of Zetadocs, according to the companies.

Zetadocs Express helps organizations cut down on the amount of paper they use by streamlining everyday business processes such as invoicing, supplier invoice processing and proof of delivery tracking.

Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV offers three essential document management capabilities:

  • Drag & Drop Storage: By dragging and dropping any file, email or scanned document right into Dynamics NAV's RoleTailored client, the solution lets users automatically store items directly against their relevant NAV records and within SharePoint Online.
  • Save & Send Reports: Organizations can email common Dynamics NAV reports such as invoices and statements to customers via the ribbon or "Action Pane" -and copies automatically saved for future on screen retrieval.
  • Document Approval: Simple SharePoint approval workflows can be both started and monitored via the integrated Zetadocs "FactBox" within Dynamics NAV when the customer has ...
