Microsoft Dynamics SL 2017 Year-End Reporting: Prepare for Payroll, AP, and more
Every year around this time, the Solomon Cloud Solutions support team receives many questions pertaining to year-end reporting issues in Dynamics SL. We have compiled some tips & information to address tax year 2017 government tax filing and 2018 payroll tax withholding in Dynamics SL.
Payroll - W2 File Error, Tax Tables
If you are using the Payroll module in Dynamics SL, you need to install the year end updates or your W2 file will error when you submit it to the government.
December Tax Table Updates
The December tax table updates can be accessed here. The updates contain the following:
- District of Columbia - Effective January 1, 2018
- South Carolina - Effective January 1, 2018
- New York - Effective January 1, 2018
- Minnesota - Effective January 1, 2018
- Maine - Effective January 1, 2018
- Illinois - Effective January 1, 2018
- California - Effective January 1, 2018
When will the January tax table updates be released?
Microsoft is expected to release them in mid-to-late January and this update should contain all the recent federal withholding changes.
Accounts Payable - 1099 History Rebuild
