TCS helps Infineon transform part of its global sales processes

Tata Consultancy Services, a global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, has announced that it has successfully completed the first phase of a large cloud-based sales transformation program for Infineon Technologies AG, a semiconductor solutions company.

Infineon wanted to transform its global sales process to become more profitable via innovations in mobility, energy efficiency, security, and IoT, according to officials of the two companies. Infineon selected TCS as its partner to deliver a cloud-based customer-centric platform on Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement.

"We have leveraged our contextual knowledge of Infineon's business, our deep experience in digital transformation in the semiconductor industry and our expertise on the Microsoft Dynamics technology, to craft a highly user-friendly, automated digital sales platform for their sales teams," said V Rajanna, senior vice president and global head, technology business unit, TCS, in a statement.

Acquisition of Dynamics IT Business Solutions by Rhipe

Sydney, Australia-based cloud service provider Rhipe is acquiring Queensland-based Dynamics Business IT Solutions (DBITS), an IT services company that specializes in services centered around Dynamics 365 Business Central, for up to $5.8 million to expand its reach across the Asia-Pacific region.
