UK Healthcare Provider Goes Live with Dynamics NAV

UK community healthcare provider, Nottingham CityCare Partnership's (CityCare) finance department has gone live on a new integrated ERP & accounting solution from Azzure IT. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV system is saving the enterprise significant time and money, company officials said.

Previously part of a National Health Service (NHS) organization, CityCare was set up as a staff-led social enterprise in 2011 to provide better health and complete care to people in the community. As a social enterprise, excess funds are funneled back into services, patient care, staff training or community benefit projects. That's why it was key for CityCare to cut costs while still delivering quality healthcare, according to officials. However, CityCare's shared NHS system was not providing the flexibility it needed.

"It became clear we needed to move away from our shared system.  Having our own comprehensive solution that would provide strong functionality for both accounting and budgeting, became a necessity and we were convinced the Microsoft solution from Azzure IT could provide us with that," said Trevor Nicholas, Director of Resources at Nottingham CityCare Partnership, in a statement.

Azzure IT has been able to customize Dynamics NAV to meet CityCare's very specific requirements.
