Aptean extends its leadership in the food and beverage market with acquisition of IndustryBuilt

Aptean, a provider of enterprise software, has acquired IndustryBuilt Ltd., a provider of industry-specific ERP solutions. The acquisition of IndustryBuilt extends Aptean's capabilities in the food and beverage market, a key growth area for the company.

IndustryBuilt's core product is JustFood, an ERP solution purpose-built for food and beverage manufacturers and distributors. The company also offers EquipSoft, an ERP solution for equipment dealerships that helps optimize rentals, service, sales, parts, and fleet management activities, according to officials of the two companies. Both products are built on the Microsoft Dynamics platform and are offered on-premise and in the cloud.

"By joining Aptean and becoming part of a larger organization, we'll gain access to new geographic markets as well as considerable capabilities that will help us accelerate product innovation and continue to increase our customer base," said David Pilz, CEO of IndustryBuilt, in a statement. "In the end, our JustFood and EquipSoft customers will have access to more resources than ever before, including Aptean's vast service and support organizations."

Avanade and Annata Collaborate to advance digital transformation within automotive, equipment, rental and fleet industries

Digital services and strategy firm Avanade and Annata, a provider dealer management software, have teamed up to introduce Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to help automotive, equipment, rental, and fleet industries transform their workplace.

The combination of Avanade's Microsoft Dynamics 365 global capabilities and innovation with Annata's platform and industry capabilities will offer organizations the expertise needed to become intelligent enterprises, according to officials of the two companies.

Annata 365 manages the device lifecycle and value chain, from factory gate to end of useful life via the power of Dynamics 365 Enterprise, Power BI, and Azure technology. The flexible, cloud-based architectural design helps customers respond to market changes to be more competitive, officials said.

"We are excited to be working with Annata to extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 native capabilities with a first-class vertical industry solution to increase business agility and reduce operating costs," said Francois Matte, global ERP Lead, Avanade, in a statement.

eBECS and Data Masons form strategic partnership

eBECS, a specialist in delivering Microsoft Total Business Solutions and Data Masons, a provider of Microsoft certified EDI solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365, have announced a partnership aimed at B2B customers.

Premier Computing, a provider of Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions, is celebrating 65 years in business as well as a successful rollout of its Acumatica product offering to an additional 10 companies, bringing its total list of successful Acumatica and Dynamics GP implementations to over 500.
