Optics and photonics specialist migrates from on-premises to cloud with Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management ERP

Unify Dots, a global provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications and cloud software announced a new customer deal for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management ERP with GF Micro Optics Philippines Inc. (GFP).

GFP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Go!Foton Holdings Inc., a provider of optical components and connectivity solutions for carriers and data centers. GFP decided to migrate from an on-premises to cloud-based Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management installation so it could generate financial reports more quickly and facilitate better collaboration with affiliates, according to the companies.

GFP selected Unify Dots as its Dynamics 365 cloud partner because of its D365 implementation experience and technical skills, according to Marieta Pelayo, GFP’s vice president for administration.

"We are confident that this move to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud ERP and our partnership with Unify Dots will allow us to be compliant with reporting requirements of the Bureau of Internal Revenue and fortify safekeeping of vital data," Pelayo said.

FourVision’s new HCM connector creates a link between iCIMS Talent Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365FO

FourVision has launched its new HCM Connector that links the iCIMS Talent Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

The new connector offers an easy-to-use interface, customized fields, enhanced data and more, enabling HR professionals to seamlessly align iCIMS Talent Cloud with D365FO, the company said. As a result, HR teams can now use a single interface to synchronize and exchange data between the two systems.

The HCM Connector also offers a customizable, user-friendly interface to capture all the relevant applicant and employee data in one location. The connector then automatically collects the data when the job applicant fills out their online application form, the company said.

HR professionals can also enter additional data via the HCM Connector, and the tool can be modified to include company-specific fields. The data is automatically fed into the correct HR systems in D365FO, which makes setting up new employee files faster and more efficient.
