DemandDynamics launches on-demand services to support Dynamics 365 customers

IT services provider DemandDynamics has launched its on-demand service model existing Dynamics 365 implementations.

"We felt that a unique approach was needed in a crowded market and saw this as an opportunity to rethink the way services are consumed," stated Dave Bond, chief technology officer of DemandDynamics. "We live in an on-demand economy, where we can consume infrastructure, platform, and software on demand, then why not consume professional services on a pay-as-you-use basis as well?"

DemandDynamics on-demand service will allow the company to focus on its mission to provide Microsoft Dynamics services to companies of all sizes and complexities, Bond stated.

Leadspace collaborates with Microsoft to bring its unified B2B data enrichment to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights

Leadspace has rolled out a new real-time data connections for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights to enable companies to enrich profiles in Customer Insights with Leadspace's  B2B company data.

The Leadspace connection for "company data" will be available in preview beginning this month. Customers can try it in preview mode prior to general availability later this summer, according to a statement.

"Our customers see incredible results by improving the quality and completeness of their data. Leadspace takes a unique source-and-channel-agnostic approach to unifying and activating B2B data that gives companies a single source of truth to power their go-to-market efforts," stated Leadspace CEO Doug Bewsher.

The connection to Customer Insights will help companies better target, segment, prioritize, and personalize experiences, he stated.

Avtex acquires CPI assets

Avtex has acquired the assets of Communications Products Inc. (CPI), a contact center and communication solutions provider. A major Microsoft Dynamics partner, Avtex provides customer experience consulting and technology services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Specifically, Avtex has entered into agreement to purchase CPI's portfolio of Genesys customers. Genesys sells customer and call center technology to mid-sized and large businesses. CPI has leveraged the Genesys platform and eMite portfolio to create customized contact center solutions for its clients.

"Now more than ever, customer experience hubs, AI-enabled data analytics. and single customer golden record are critical for organizations," stated Avtex CEO George Demou. "Avtex will continue to be aggressive to expand our capabilities around these solutions, even during these market conditions for the benefit of our clients."

ComputerTalk announces general availability of Ice for Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing

Computer Talk Technology Inc. has announced that Direct Routing for Ice Contact Center with Teams is generally available in its North American cloud sites.

This new capability gives customers an alternative to Teams federation. Direct Routing enables calls to be routed to Teams-based agents using a managed SBC (session border controller) network, according to a statement. Ice offers faster call setup times than federation, allowing agents to handle all interactions directly in whatever Teams client they choose.

"Unlike previous certification programs, this program includes a unified support model and ongoing data sharing between ComputerTalk and Microsoft," stated Chris Bardon, chief software architect at ComputerTalk. "This means that support cases can be smoothly transitioned between Microsoft and ComputerTalk, and increases the visibility of ice in the Microsoft [Dynamics] 365 support organization. Our mutual customers will have a smooth support experience across the two organizations."
