PVBS Launches Dynamics AX for Gov't Contractors

Pleasant Valley Business Solutions (PVBS) has launched Microsoft Dynamics AX for Government Contractors, featuring government-compliant project accounting functionality and workflow needed by large companies that do business with the federal government.

The solution is designed for larger government contractors considering Dynamics AX and large companies that are using Dynamics AX today for their commercial enterprises and needed project accounting capability to support their government contracts.

PVBS will bring this project accounting functionality to market as part of larger AX implementations led by a select group of partners, officials said.

Transportation Authority Contracts with Tyler Technologies for Dynamics AX

Tyler Technologies Inc. has signed an agreement with the San Francisco County Transportation Authority to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX with public sector functionality that Tyler jointly developed with Microsoft. The contract includes implementation and related professional services, training and support.

The Transportation Authority selected Dynamics AX to replace its legacy financial and accounting software to increase the efficiency of its operations and better support its complex business needs, officials said. The Transportation Authority also plans to leverage the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX and to integrate paperless document management throughout its business processes.
