ANS acquires Makutu to accelerate data and AI innovation

ANS has acquired Makutu, a consultancy that focuses on data engineering and advanced AI. The deal builds on ANS's 2022 purchase of Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist Preact. The deal strengthens its work helping UK organizations make better use of their data and adopt AI, according to the company.

Backed by Inflexion and Barings, the deal adds Makutu's 25 data architects, engineers and AI experts to ANS's team of more than 650 workers.

"This acquisition builds on the success of previous deals, including our acquisition of Dynamics 365 specialist Preact," said Richard Thompson, CEO at ANS. "It reflects our strategy of combining strong organic growth with selective M&A activity to create one of the UK's leading Microsoft-focused digital transformation partners."

OKQ8 selects LTIMindtree to accelerate its next-gen digital transformation journey

LTIMindtree, a technology consulting and digital solutions company, has renewed its strategic partnership with OKQ8, one of the largest fuel companies in the Nordic region.
