Microsoft Dynamics NAV Experts Appeal for Changes in ISV Software Strategy with Partner Ready Software Initiative

Are Microsoft Dynamics NAV ISVs ready for the future?  We know that Microsoft is hustling to help NAV ISVs prepare Azure-ready versions of their software to correspond with the impending launch of the Azure-ready NAV 7 release. Some Dynamics NAV experts see significant changes coming in the way Microsoft manages its ERP business as it edges toward the cloud. And with other changes and challenges like Microsoft's channel verticalization strategy and .NET interoperability, some of the top NAV solution developers see an opportunity now to engage in efforts to change the way they sell, deliver, and support NAV add-on software.

Partner Ready Software (PRS) is a new, loosely organized group of Dynamics NAV ISVs led by veteran NAV software developers Eric Wauters (iFacto), Mark Brummel (BrummelDS), and Gary Winter (Agiles), who hope to change both the business of ISV solutions as well as the future direction of the Dynamics NAV technical architecture.
