Microsoft Dynamics GP community remembers Richard Whaley as educator, MVP

The Microsoft Dynamics GP community lost a veteran member today. Long time GP consultant, author, and publisher Richard Whaley has passed away following a prolonged illness.

Friends and colleagues from his many years in the Dynamics GP community disclosed the information today, following a report two weeks ago from Leslie Vail that his health had declined. According to Vail, he was sixty three years old today.

"He was a dear friend and I know he helped many of us on the Forum," Leslie wrote in her blog post disclosing the news. "He will be deeply missed."

Richard has been known in recent years for his work at his publishing house Accolade Publications, which has been one of the most prolific producers of Dynamics ERP and CRM books on the market.  Whaley wrote many books personally.
