On the Dynamics GP Support and Services Blog, Isaac Olson asked if anyone has ever encountered the following error message: "You don't have security privileges to this window. Contact your system administrator for assistance."

He wrote that maybe then you stumbled on KB 857086 but you weren't quite sure how to use it?

In his post, Olson provides instructions that that he has used on many occasions to resolve this message:

All you have to do is run a dexsql.log of the security error message popping up and go through the steps below. This will tell you every role and task in SQL that contains that window.
