Microsoft Dynamics GP 2026 midyear update released
On the Dynamics GP Support and Services blog, Terry Heley wrote that It's mid-June, which means the Dynamics GP midyear update has arrived.
Heley noted that this update includes Canadian payroll tax changes for:
- British Columbia
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Prince Edward Island
- T4127 payroll deductions formulas effective July 1, 2026
This update is mainly aimed at Canadian Payroll customers, but it also includes a few fixes and improvements based on feedback from other users:
- VAT return in version 18.8 could not be submitted unless the user was SA.
- The Human Resource Review Calendar window only showed years through 2026 in the drop-down list. (Workaround: leave the year blank and it will use the Dynamics GP user date.)
- Lockbox files were importing with the year 1926. (Workaround: change the file to use a four-digit year instead of two digits.)
GP Power Tools build 33.6 hotfix released
Writing on his blog, David Musgrave stated that build 33.6 of GP Power Tools was released on June 18, 2026. It includes all fixes and improvements made since Build 33.5.
