Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 has shipped
Microsoft has announced that Dynamics GP 2018 R2 has shipped.
Unlike previous releases that have been at the end of the calendar year, 2018 R2 coincides with the October timing of other Dynamics updates like Business Central.
Some of the features in the new version include:
- Partial purchase on PO and email PO other form – This allows a partial purchase on a purchase order when you create the PO from a purchase requisition. In addition, you can email the PO other template from purchase order entry.
- Additional sort options in SOP and customer combiner retains ship to addresses – Additional sort options are available in the sales order processing item inquiry window. And now when you use the customer combiner, the ship to addresses are retained for the combined customer. In addition, a sort by option is now available in the order processing Item inquiry windows.
- SmartList and Navigation Lists enhancements – SmartList Designer favorites will now display in the navigation lists, which means that any SmartList that was created using SmartList Designer will appear in the SmartList navigation lists. Additionally, the letter writing assistant works in the web client so when you're in the SmartList window and you click on the Word option, the templates are available as they are in the Windows client. You can also mass update a group of master records from the navigation lists.
