Microsoft Dynamics Is a Big Hit in Croatia and Slovenia

Microsoft Dynamics has lots of admirers in the emerging European countries of Croatia and Slovenia.

In Croatia, the eighth annual four-day WinDays Conference just wound up, having attracted more than 2,000 attendees. "Microsoft WinDays is the largest and most important business and technology conference in Croatia (and the region)," write Vjekoslav Babic, a Dynamics NAV consultant who presented at the conference, on his blog.

Before it was over, more than 2,000 people had attended the more than 160 presentations, including a significant number about Dynamics.

Microsoft has sought to capitalize on its popularity in the region by undertaking an unusual marketing push: it is advertising by plastering "Microsoft Dynamics" on the planes of the Slovenian airline, Adria Airways. According to a Microsoft spokesperson, "Microsoft Dynamics has decided to use the possibility for painting the airplane as part of a broader Dynamics marketing campaign" in the region.
