How to qualify a lead in Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM
On the Ledgeview Partners' blog, Chad Collett said it might not always make sense to create a new account or contact when qualifying a Lead in Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM.
There are a few out-of-the-box options with Dynamics CRM to provide users with some flexibility in this area. According to Collett, the first option is to populate the fields for an existing contact or an existing account.
Having a value in these fields will prevent a new contact or a new account from being created when qualifying a lead, he said.
But, what if you have a lead entered in CRM, and the lead only has a contact name and some basic info about the topic?
