Speeding up the Financial Reporting (Management Reporter) refresh in a sandbox

On the Dynamics Consulting blog, Jacob Roder stated that during a recent upgrade from Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO) 7.2 to 8.1.3, a feature change affected the behavior of exchange rates in Financial Reporting (formerly Management Reporter).

The problem is that you have to delete any legal entity overrides that existed before the upgrade then re-create them with the appropriate currency exchange rate type specified on them, Roder stated.

During troubleshooting with Microsoft, they tipped me off to a helpful little script to run against the Management Reporter database in a sandbox environment.

Dynamics 365 project timesheets mobile app – seamless project timesheet entry and approvals on the go in D365 Finance and Operations

On his Dynamics 365 For Operations Blog, Sandeep Chaudhury decided to write about the new project timesheets mobile app in D365FO that launched with the One version.

Chaudhury stated that in earlier releases of D365FO the project time entry mobile workspace let you enter your project timesheet on a mobile device, but there was very limited functionality.

However, now there's a new dedicated mobile app called "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Timesheet" that offers full functionality for timesheet management using a mobile device.
