How to process vendor payments in Dynamics 365 Business Central
On the Encore Business Solutions blog, Abhishek Jain wrote about the value of processing vendor payments in Business Central for accounting and finance teams. However, he noted that it does have some quirks and common challenges.
Jain explained how to process vendor payments and offered troubleshooting tips for issues his clients often run into, such as voiding the check after the vendor payment has been processed and how to handle the suggest vendor payments functionality.
In his blog post, Jain explained what you need to do to process vendor payments in D365BC. He also offered information about the two ways to apply payment entries: manually entering payment entries; and auto payment entry generation and applying against the invoices.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Conquering drop shipments
An author writing on the Bond Consulting Services blog stated that more companies are turning to drop shipments to fulfill customer orders. However, the author noted that although doing so frees up valuable storage space and saves money on inventory, it also introduces new complexities in managing and tracking goods.
The author wrote that D365BC can make it easier for companies to manage their drop shipments and fulfill customer orders. The author then explained the capabilities in D365BC that simplify drop shipping. D365BC integrates with your sales and purchase orders, automatically creating drop shipment requests when needed. It lets users easily monitor the status of each shipment from pick up to delivery and identify any potential delays or issues. Additionally D365BC allows customers to allocate stock virtually and analyze trends.
