Service management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
On the CloudFronts blog, Hitesh Jingare wrote that service management in Business Central enables companies that provide after-sales services, such as repairs, maintenance, installation, and customer support. The module gives users tools to manage agreements, quotes, orders, invoicing, and even loaner equipment.
He added that with features for resource allocation, task scheduling, inventory tracking, and loaner management, the service management module streamlines workflows, improves coordination among teams, and ensures timely, effective service delivery.
In his post, Jingare also outlined the full workflow for managing service operations in D365 Business Central, from creating a quote to generating the final invoice.
How to merge customer records
Writing on his blog, Khushbu Rajvi stated that as your business grows, your list of customers expands, and sometimes, duplicate records appear.
