What is feature management in Business Central and how is it used?
On the ArcherPoint blog, Sally Hanham wrote that the feature management tool in D365BC shows you upcoming features and lets you turn them on early to test them.
She stated that feature management not only shows upcoming new features but also features included in minor D365BC releases that won't be enabled until the next major release.
Hanham stated that feature management lets you try them out in a test environment and turn them off again if needed. However, she added that these features are only optional for a limited time.
Hanham wrote that all the features listed in feature management are fully developed and ready to use – they're not test or beta versions. And she noted that this tool works for cloud and on-premises versions of D365BC.
In her blog post, Hanham explained how to get access to feature management and how to use it.
