Microsoft announces, briefly, general availability of Dynamics NAV 2015

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 made its debut at a partner conference in mid-September, with attendee tweets, blog posts, and other coverage outpacing official word by about six days. Today, the NAV team has announced, with an economy of words, the general availability of NAV 2015. Here is their announcement, in full:

"We are happy to announce that Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 is now available for download and for requesting licenses for new customers. This release includes improved support for RapidStart code upgrade and data upgrade, ease of use with user experience enhancements and new apps for tablet devices, new document reports, and cash management.

"At Directions US, we presented Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 to 600 partner representatives, and we look forward to presenting to another 1100 or so at Directions EMEA next week. In case you're keeping track, that is twenty five fewer words about the major release than they used in the announcement ten days ago. It also represents far less public communication than either the Dynamics ...
