KPMG Acquires Microsoft Dynamics Partner Hands-On Systems

KPMG Australia has acquired Microsoft partner, Hands-on Systems, a firm that provides Dynamics AX, NAV, and CRM services.

As an implementation services partner of Microsoft Australia, KPMG said Hands-on Systems will boost its end-to-end technology services offering to clients. Hands-On's 80 employees will move over to the newly-created KPMG Hands-On Systems division, within KPMG's Technology Enablement business, according to reports.

Since 1985, Hands-On Systems has successfully implemented business management systems worldwide, enabling over 1,100 companies to make more informed decisions, drive down costs and grow with new technology, according to company officials. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Through this acquisition, together using our business and IT expertise, we will be able to provide clients with enhanced technology enablement capabilities using Microsoft's Dynamics enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management software," the company said in a statement.

In February, KPMG announced it had acquired Crimsonwing, a global IT company focusing on Microsoft Dynamics and e-commerce business solutions. The deal was valued at approximately $30 million.

At the time, KPMG said the acquisition would allow the company to help its clients transform their businesses and ensure they get the full benefit from their investments in new technology and information systems. The business, dubbed KPMG Crimsonwing, is jointly owned by KPMG's firms in the UK, Netherlands and Malta.
