Hootsuite has announced new integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications that will touch sales, marketing, and customer service functions.

The integration will help in a range of ways, the company stated. Social data from Hootsuite can be used in the context of Dynamics 365 apps to help with lead scoring and enrichment, marketing segmentation, and omnichannel customer service. Specific touch points include:

  • Enrich leads, and lead scoring models in Dynamics 365 Sales
  • Omnichannel capabilities in Dynamics 365 Customer Service
  • Refine segmentation to send offers through Dynamics 365 Marketing

Vancouver-based Hootsuite has been partnering with Microsoft for several years to bring social data into business applications. The company announced an integration with Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and Yammer in 2015 that offered lead conversion from social channels. The new announcement modernizes the company's integration story with more tailored use cases for Microsoft's current CRM-focused lineup of Dynamics 365 apps.
