Hal Howard Wins Microsoft Endorsement in Promotion to Corporate VP

Hal Howard has been promoted to corporate vice president of Microsoft Dynamics ERP Research and Development, from general manager.

The promotion was reported via a tweet, as well as through a statement on CustomerSource, a password-protected site for Microsoft Dynamics customers.

The promotion would seem to be an endorsement of the success of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP suite, including Dynamics AX, GP, NAV, and SL. The company appears to be saying that despite a falloff in Dynamics revenues because of the recession, the company supports his group's product advances, most notable among them the advent of the role tailored interface. 

In actuality, Howard has been running Dynamics R&D for several years now; in his biography for Convergence 2008, he was identified as "the corporate vice president of Microsoft Dynamics ERP Research and Development responsible for all research and development efforts for the Microsoft Dynamics ERP portfolio of products...across the globe."
