Equisys Launches Version 5 of Zetadocs for NAV with Easier Transition from Zetadocs Express, Office 365 Integration

Equisys ZetadocsEquisys has launched Version 5 of Zetadocs for NAV, the latest version of its document management add-on for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

The new version broadens localization to 17 countries and includes improvements in the process of upgrading from the free Zetadocs Express to the full product.

Last November, Microsoft and Equisys launched Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, a more limited version of Zetadocs that integrates Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 with Microsoft Office 365. Zetadocs Express is unique among other ISV document management solutions in that Microsoft has chosen to offer it to Dynamics NAV users on a Business Ready Enhancement Plan for no additional license cost.

The new version also offers an updated installation process aimed at reducing the risk of implementation cost overruns and enables cloud storage of documents through Microsoft Office 365's SharePoint Online instead of on-premise SharePoint Server or SharePoint Foundation.  SharePoint is also leveraged for its workflows, email alerts, and security rules.

Version 5 of Zetadocs for NAV is available immediately.
