Dynamic Communities buys Comunidad365, expanding regional access

January 8 2019

Spanish language Microsoft Dynamics community Comunidad365 has been purchased by Dynamic Communities, Inc.(DCI), the parent company of user groups for Dynamics 365, GP, AX, CRM, NAV, and SL, and the Power platform. The deal gives DCI more direct access to a Spanish-speaking community of Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement users and partners that now tops six thousand, according to the site's founder and Microsoft MVP Pablo Peralta.

Peralta founded Comunidad365 in 2012 as an online community with forums, webcasts, podcasts, and training. In recent years it has expanded to include in-person events in various cities around Latin America including recent events in Quito and Bogota.

In an email to site members today, Peralta explained that the two organizations were working to migrate the site's forums, events, blogs, etc. to the DCI online platform in the upcoming weeks. As part of the acquisition, Peralta and a team member will join DCI.

He wrote to members that he believes being part of DCI will improve Comunidad365 member expereinces:

Esta adquisición es una excelente noticia para ti ya que multiplicará tus oportunidades de aprendizaje y networking alrededor de soluciones de negocio Microsoft que tendrás disponible prontamente.

Which translates (roughly) to:

This acquisition is excellent news for you as it will soon multiply your learning and networking opportunities around Microsoft business solutions.

For DCI, the deal adds a growing regional audience. The company continues to focus on members and events in various geographies including Australia, Canada, and regions within EMEA.
