Doing more with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015: Key user experience enhancements

In Sunday's keynote at NAV Directions (#Directions14 if you're following along on Twitter), Microsoft presented three pillars behind the vision for Dynamics NAV 2015 - that it is quick to implement, easy to use, and has the power to support SMB ambition.

Based on early experiences with NAV 2015, it's clear that the new release aims to align itself with Microsoft's wider strategic goals as explained recently by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella:  

"At our core, Microsoft is the productivity and platform company for the mobile-first, cloud first-world. We will reinvent productivity to empower every person and every organization on the planet to do more and achieve more."

The changes in NAV 2015 range from subtle to bold, but they all fall under the umbrella of providing users with a simplified, tailored, and more integrated experience. The nod to 'One Microsoft' rings loud and clear in this release. There are a few key features worth exploring now to understand what's coming when the product is officially launched in the first week of October. Below is a summary.

Faster Loading in Web Client

In 2015, pages render 30% faster and 4x less bandwidth is required to run the web client. A simple but significant improvement in the efficiency and satisfaction department.

Simplified Pages
