Curiosity, a love for troubleshooting, wins Jen Kuntz Microsoft Dynamics GP MVP award

Jen KuntzJen Kuntz knew she had been nominated for the Microsoft Dynamics GP MVP award in June.

But, she says, "I wasn't sure that I had done enough when I think of what some of the other MVPs do," Kuntz says. "Sure, I blog and I give back and I do some forum work, but do I actually do enough to be at that level? In my head, it didn't seem like I had made the cut."

As time drew closer to Oct. 1, the first day that she was eligible for the award, Kuntz because increasingly nervous.

"I didn't know if I was going to be disappointed," she says. "And I didn't know what my reaction was going to be if I didn't get it. But I was so stunned and honored when I did get it. It was crazy. It really was just an honor to be nominated because I think that's quite an accomplishment on its own. But finding out about it and getting that email was just amazing. It was just very cool."

As the founder of Kuntz Consulting, based in Ontario, Canada, Kuntz has worked with Microsoft Dynamics GP since 1999. At that time, she was a GP customer, working in an accounting role. She soon became more interested in GP project implementation work than in day-to-day accounting.
