ChargeLogic Launches PCI Validated Payment Gateway for Microsoft Dynamics NAV
ChargeLogic, a provider of PCI validated payment processing software, has launched ChargeLogic Connect, a PCI validated payment gateway integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
ChargeLogic Connect works with ChargeLogic and Dynamics NAV to offer companies a fully integrated e-commerce solution.
"ChargeLogic Connect provides the missing element that our NAV and LS Retail customers need for a truly integrated e-commerce and retail solution that addresses PCI compliance," said Jonathan Cooper, ChargeLogic Product Manager, in a statement. "The product includes lots of extras that address PCI compliance and provide ROI to merchants."
ChargeLogic Connect allows companies to settle directly with the payment processor, eliminating the need to settle via an external gateway, reducing the possibility for incorrect amounts or duplicate transactions and ensuring that all amounts are correct, according to the company.
It also provides Level II and Level III credit card qualification, authorized amount adjustment, and time-based reauthorization, ultimately saving merchants from fees because of downgraded transactions, the company said.
ChargeLogic Connect's industry-standard web service interface enables integration with nearly any e-commerce solution and Microsoft Dynamics NAV with ChargeLogic, according to the company. Then when the link has been established, ChargeLogic Connect can authorize customer credit card payments for web orders using an existing merchant account.
According to the company, other benefits of ChargeLogic Connect include:
- Dynamics NAV batch postings, maintenance periods, and downtime don't impact real-time web-based credit card authorizations;
- ChargeLogic Connect eliminates a number potential security, reliability, and performance issues because it acts as a rendezvous point and makes direct web-to-NAV communications unnecessary;
- ChargeLogic Connect transports customer credit card data from the web into Dynamics NAV in a secure and PCI-compliant manner.
