NAV 2009 Release: An Insider's Perspective: As expected, many recent posts have focused on the release of Dynamics NAV 2009, announced at Convergence Copenhagen 2009. One interesting reaction can be found on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Team Blog. Dan Brown, General Manager for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Mobility, shares the story of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 from his unique perspective: "Instead of resorting to sanitized marketing sound bites, this will be a more personal account.  It's my own particular point of view exploring this product and how it relates to our customers and partners." Worth reading.

For a less sentimental, more nuts-and-bolts reaction to the new product, the Navigate Into Success blog has a great post describing many new aspects of NAV 2009, including:

Dynamics CRM Benefits ISVs with Highly Transactional Line-of-Business Apps: The  Dynamics CRM Team Blog explains the value of the CRM Platform for the ISV community.  In a Channel9 video, two principal technologists discuss the CRM platform and the opportunities for partners to build on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. 

Specifically, they cite the value for ISVs to leverage a wide range of highly transactional line-of-business applications in Dynamics CRM.
