Around the world, countries and regions are diverging in their approach to the coronavirus crisis. Some places like Germany, Denmark, and some US states have moved toward reduced restrictions, while closures are being extended elsewhere like New York, the UK, and Japan. As industries around the world waited for a sense of direction from national governments, Microsoft issued fewer updates than in weeks past.

Among general updates, Update 1 of Azure Sphere 20.04 is available for compatibility testing in the Retail Eval feed. The Azure team announced that automatic instance repairs for VM scale sets are available, with the support API and Migrate for Azure Government GA as well. Security Center's free tier is now includes identity recommendations while Express Snapshots is on-offer in HPC Cache, supporting maximum transmission unit settings.
