Belgian hospitals launch medical imaging based on Azure

Two hospitals in Belgium announced they went live with medical imaging capabilities developed by Swedish technology company, Sectra, using Microsoft Azure. AZ Sint Lucas and AZ Sint Jan in the Belgian city of Bruges inked a contract with Sectra in 2023 to adopt Sectra’s enterprise imaging and public cloud managed service. Prior to the launch, the two hospitals could not collaborate because they were using two different providers. 

"The new system has already enhanced our ability to share resources and collaborate on patient cases. The ability to tailor our workflows has also greatly benefited our radiologists, especially for overarching multidisciplinary team meetings" said Dr. Pieter Vandaele, Head of the Department of Radiology at AZ Sint Lucas, in a statement. The new offering leverages Azure for scalability to create a unified view of imaging and to reduce costs. 

Opsera launches a unified DevOps platform in Azure Marketplace

Opsera, a San Francisco-based company that provides customers with DevOps capabilities announced that its Unified DevOps Platform is now available in Azure Marketplace. Opsera aims to bring together the entire software development lifecycle with developer insights for DORA and GitHub Copilot, while simultaneously providing native integrations and unified data for SaaS apps.
