Informatica deploys master data management-as-a-service

Cloud data management company Informatica announced that it is working with Microsoft on a private preview of its Master Data Management offering on Azure. The SaaS offering is intended to centralize customers’ view of business-critical data, break down silos, and rationalize hundreds of different data sources.

Informatica chose to use Azure to scale up the SaaS offering for customers and add support for personalized experiences. The company is also launching end to end data governance capabilities from the data source to Power BI with its Intelligent Data Management Cloud on Azure.
