Palantir announced that Palantir Federal Cloud Service has received FedRAMP approval to secure DoD Impact Level 4 and Level 5 workloads on Azure. This marks a new milestone in Palantir’s strategic partnership with Microsoft. As Azure usage has grown among federal agencies, Palantir has expanded its partnership to support US defense industrial base organizations, as well the DFARS and ITARS standards.

"With Palantir Federal Cloud Service's FedRAMP authorization on Microsoft Azure, defense organizations have even more solutions available to them to meet their critical mission needs. Our focus continues to be on building up our partner ecosystem to accelerate innovation and provide trusted, flexible, and advanced cloud solutions for the national security mission,” stated Wes Anderson, Vice President, Defense, Microsoft Federal.

Renesas offers cell-to-cloud development kits compatible with Azure

Tokyo-based Renesas Electronics Corporation announced that its 32-bit microcontroller-based cellular-to-cloud development kits now support Microsoft Azure. Two of the kits, CK-RA6M5 and CK-RX65N, allow users to manage wireless IoT devices from the cloud. Both kits use the LTE CAT-M1 module to connect MCUs to the cloud without an Embedded Wireless Framework, so that network adapters can maintain security.

Renesas’ kits are certified for IoT Hub and IoT Plug and Play. "The opportunities that the Azure cloud platform brings to IoT developers are limitless.
