NTT DATA uses Digital Twins for energy efficiency offering

NTT DATA announced a new digital sustainability solution using Azure Digital Twins, co-developed with e-Magic. The offering integrates data from sensors, ERP, and devices to give customers a more holistic view of efficiency and carbon emissions. The offering is intended to reduce data siloing and overcome the process of manually processing spreadsheets. Digital twins technology will be used to assess operational equipment based on historical datasets.

“This solution delivers value to clients in the short term with the ability to integrate large, connected ecosystems. The collaboration between e-Magic, NTT DATA and Microsoft allows us to create long-term sustainability roadmaps to take our clients to carbon net-zero emissions while also reducing costs, creating new products and services, and improving operational efficiency, employee experience, and the overall brand. We see this as giving them a competitive advantage,” stated anvir Khan, Chief Digital Officer, NTT DATA Services.
