American Express grows partnership with Microsoft

American Express announced the expansion of its existing partnership with Microsoft. Using Azure AI and machine learning capabilities, it plans to boost its expense management process by improving audit efficacy, automating expense reporting, and streamlining reconciliation. Over time, the capabilities will become available to American Express Corporate clients.

Going forward, when a business traveler swipes their corporate card, they will be prompted to upload a picture of the receipt for an AI decision engine to assign a risk score, color coding risk scores for different levels of review.

Next Pathway deploys offering on Azure Marketplace

Next Pathway, an automated cloud migration provider, announced that its SHIFT Cloud offering is now available on Azure Marketplace. The offering provides customers with code translation capabilities to migrate legacy SQL and ETL into Azure. In 2022, Next Pathway announced a partnership with Microsoft to support the migration of legacy data warehouses and data lakes to Azure.
