Taptok uses Microsoft for Startups to reduce carbon footprint
Miami-based Taptok announced that it is using Microsoft for Startups to reach its carbon-neutral infrastructure goals. The company provides what it describes as a “unified solution” for customer engagement. Currently, Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub provides four tiers of support for small businesses: Ideate, Develop, Grow, and Scale. Taptok chose to take advantage of credits tailored for small businesses to meet its sustainability goals.
"We're consciously minimizing paper waste with our products but to continue with our eco-responsible mission, it was critical to find a truly sustainable cloud computing environment. Microsoft for Startups gave us that opportunity. [Microsoft] had the right balance for us being sustainable, trustable, and scalable,” stated Taptok CEO Jaime Manteiga.
