The Association of Dynamics Professionals Launches First Round of New GP, NAV Certification Exams

The Association of Dynamics Professionals (DynamicsPro) has announced the availability of its Certified Dynamics Professional assessment and credentialing programs.

The DynamicsPro certification program will enable professionals to obtain credentials and attestation of their levels of Microsoft Dynamics GP or NAV expertise, according to the organization’s officials.

Many people were disappointed with Microsoft's decision to end professional certifications for Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV, and SL professionals in 2014. But as soon as the news that Microsoft was killing the tests spread among the Dynamics ERP community, there were also discussions that an independent certifying authority could replace Microsoft's system.

Enter the Association of Dynamics Professionals, which was spearheaded by Dynamic Communities (DCI), the company that runs GPUG and NAVUG (as well as AXUG and CRMUG). DynamicsPro operates independently as a non-profit organization, but DCI will offer DynamicsPro certifications exams at its events and offer training related to the certifications. Exams will also be held at NAV Directions North America event this fall.

The first level of DynamicsPro credentials may be earned through core functional-focused and technical-focused exams in both Dynamics GP 2015 and Dynamics NAV 2015. By passing one or more of the Core Certificate Exams, individuals will earn their credentialed Dynamics Professional designation. Advanced anuirements and exams have been developed and reviewed by teams of Dynamics partners, consultants, Microsoft MVPs and MCTs to ensure that they're accurate, current and meaningful, officials said.
