Apttus, an ISV focused on CPQ, contract management, e-commerce, and other revenue management solutions, announced the appointment of Frank Holland as its CEO. Holland is a former general manager and vice president at Microsoft, where he led teams with global operations for 20 years.

Before joining Apttus, Holland oversaw Microsoft's Dynamics CRM and ERP products and directed sales efforts for both cloud and on-premises. He was charged with customer due diligence during Microsoft's acquisition of LinkedIn and prior to becoming CVP for Dynamics was in charge of the vendor's $4 billion advertising sales business. Additionally, he served as CVP for Microsoft operations, paying close attention to field service and order-to-cash functions.

The past few years have brought significant changes to Apttus some of which drew it closer to Microsoft.
