The 11 Biggest Microsoft Dynamics GP Stories of 2011

Its year end again and time for, you guessed it, lists! I've compiled what I think are the 11 biggest Dynamics GP stories of 2011 as determined by, me. In reverse order they are (cue drumroll in your head):

11.   The Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Cookbook sold out at Convergence 2011.

GP Cookbook ShelfSure it's selfish to start with this but hey, it's my list. It was also incredibly cool to see that big empty space in the shelves where the book used to be and the sign on the register explaining how to order more. I had tons of people comment on it so it slides into spot number 11.

10.   Microsoft Connect

Microsoft's Connect site finally got noticed this year. MS Connect allows users to submit product suggestions and the world finally figured out that Microsoft actually uses these suggestions when planning the next release. I think 2012 will be an even bigger year as Connect comes into its own.

9.       Partner Network Changes

Changes to the Microsoft Partner network created a lot of chatter among partners. I suspect that users mostly yawned but it was a significant shakeup to ecosystem and there are still partners with some hard decisions to make.

8.     Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Reporting book released
