Former Salesforce Executive to Advise Data Integration Leader as Company Expands Its Relationships and Influence in the Salesforce Ecosystem
MANCHESTER, NH - January 26, 2016 - Scribe Software, a global data integration leader, today announced the appointment of cloud technology veteran Avanish Sahai to the company's board of directors. Sahai will add his 25+ years in technology and five years as a senior Salesforce executive to the experiences of the Scribe board, advising the integration solution provider as it expands its partner relationships and product offerings in the Salesforce ecosystem.
"We're thrilled to have Avanish on our board," said Shawn McGowan, CEO of Scribe Software. "His deep background in Salesforce, SaaS and SI technology partnerships will bring us invaluable expertise as we continue to expand our strategic partnerships in the Salesforce market."
Sahai joins Scribe's board in addition to his current role as senior vice president of channels & alliances for InsideSales.com, where he is charged with building the company's partner and channel ecosystem, including pioneering strong business partnerships with Microsoft and Salesforce. He is a seasoned technology executive with decades of experience at established companies like Oracle and Salesforce. Sahai was previously global vice president of independent software vendor (ISV) and channel alliances for Salesforce, where under his leadership, Salesforce built the AppExchange into a billion dollar ecosystem.
"Scribe's approach to helping cloud application providers and systems integrators accelerate integrations has put them in a leadership position in the cloud data integration market, and I'm excited to join the company's board as it expands its footprint in the Salesforce ecosystem," noted Sahai. "Scribe became the dominant integration player in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem because they simplified complex integrations and allowed large organizations to develop configurable integrations at scale. Lending my experience to help them expand their presence within the Salesforce market is an exceptionally exciting venture."
Sahai will provide guidance as Scribe's leadership team expands the company's network of more than 1,200 systems integrator (SI) and reseller partners and augments the capabilities of Scribe Software's data integration platforms, including Scribe Online, the company's integration platform as a service (iPaaS) offering.
