"This release brings more speed, more automation, and a more seamless experience for teams working with Business Central records every day."
The new features are:
- See SharePoint links immediately.
- Upload to SharePoint from the List FactBox.
- Faster logins to SharePoint.
- Automatically replace duplicate attachments.
- Easily add drag and drop to standard tables.
Item by Item launches Microsoft D365 Engineering Change Management curriculum
Item by Item (IBI) has launched a new D365 Engineering Change Management training program.
Engineering Change Management in D365 SCM helps companies manage product data, track versions, and handle changes more easily, according to the company. This leads to better product quality, fewer production delays, and stronger collaboration across departments.
The new curriculum includes four learning paths and 35 micro-courses, offering role-based training for:
- Design engineer – setup
- Design engineer – management
- Product coordinator
- Change requester
"Engineering Change Management functionality in D365 can make your new product introductions and product change processes far easier and more streamlined," said Elif Item, founder and CEO of Item by Item. "It's also a capability you can add even after you've gone live with D365, which makes it a powerful option for organizations looking to improve without disrupting their existing operations. Our new curriculum ensures teams can take full advantage of this functionality from day one."
Martyn Bullerwell named CEO of Telefónica Tech UK&I
Telefónica Tech UK&I, a provider of implementation, integration, and support for Business Central, has named Martyn Bullerwell as its new CEO. Bullerwell joined the company after it acquired the business he founded and where he served as vice president of the data and AI practice.
With his strong background in tech leadership and growing businesses, Bullerwell is ready to guide the company’s next stage of growth and innovation in the UK and Ireland, according to the company.
Before joining Telefónica Tech, Bullerwell built and grew his own tech company, gaining strong experience in data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Since then, he has helped expand Telefónica Tech’s work in these key areas, the company said.
Bullerwell takes over from Mark Gorton, who is stepping down as CEO after six years with the company, including three as its leader. During his time as CEO, Telefónica Tech UK&I grew its cloud, cybersecurity, business applications, and data & AI services, strengthening its place in the market, the company noted.
