Business Central app upgrade: new features in DocXtender v2.4

Insight Works, an ISV specializing in manufacturing and distribution apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, has released DocXtender v2.4. The new version of this free app lets you easily attach documents to any D365BC record with drag and drop.

DocXtender works directly inside D365BC and allows organizations to store files in D365BC or connect them to SharePoint, making it easy for teams to keep documents in one place, work together better, and stay more organized.

"With v2.4, we've focused on removing common pain points around uploading, linking, and organizing documents in Business Central," said Brian Neufeld, director of Marketing at Insight Works. "This release brings more speed, more automation, and a more seamless experience for teams working with Business Central records every day."

The new features are:

  • See SharePoint links immediately.
  • Upload to SharePoint from the List FactBox.
  • Faster logins to SharePoint.
  • Automatically replace duplicate attachments.
  • Easily add drag and drop to standard tables.

Item by Item launches Microsoft D365 Engineering Change Management curriculum

Item by Item (IBI) has launched a new D365 Engineering Change Management training program.

Engineering Change Management in D365 SCM helps companies manage product data, track versions, and handle changes more easily, according to the company. This leads to better product quality, fewer production delays, and stronger collaboration across departments.
