My top Power Platform features of the new release wave
On his blog, Ben den Blanken wrote that features for the Power Platform are now being released continuously, so the official release waves have become less important. However, he noted that it's still a good idea to stay informed about upcoming changes.
For example, den Blanken stated that this release wave highlights how Dataverse is getting ready to support new advancements, especially with the push toward "agentification" and tools built for Copilot Studio.
The key investments he identified for Power Apps are the plan designer, extensible in-app agents for model-driven apps, and bring your own agents.
He also wrote in detail about the AI record summary to model-driven apps feature, the create and edit expressions with Copilot feature, and the discover and install agents from Copilot Studio feature.
He pointed out that you can check out the release plan on Microsoft Learn, where you can also download a PDF version or another option is to use the release planner. Den Blanken stated that he would use the official documentation when possible; however, if it's not available, he'll guide you to the release planner instead.
