Empower your customers: a guide to self service portals in Business Central

On the Dynamics Square blog Awanish Kumar wrote that companies want to make it easier for customers to get what they need. 

He stated that one way to do this is by using self-service portals. Kumar explained that these portals let customers find answers to their questions on their own, without having to talk to someone. 

In his blog post, Kumar wrote in detail about self-service portals in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including their benefits for companies and their customers, how to set them up, how to implement them, and best practices to ensure they work the way they're supposed to.

Issuing a customer refund in Dynamics 365 Business Central

Writing on the CloudFronts blog, Siddhi Patekar noted that to issue a refund in D365BC, you need to verify the customer's information to ensure accuracy. 

She wrote that once you verify it, you can apply the refund by specifying the amount to be refunded. Then Patekar said you need to process the payment, which involves selecting the appropriate payment method, such as a check or direct deposit. 

In her blog post, Patekar provided the steps you need to take to efficiently handle customer refunds in D365BC and maintain accurate financial records. She wrote that when you refund a customer in D365BC, it's important to choose the right kind of document as this will help everything stay accurate.

Patekar stated that by following the steps she outlined in her blog post such as verifying customer details, applying the refund, and processing the payment, you can ensure that refunds are handled efficiently and correctly.
