Improve your organization’s cash flow and supercharge employee productivity with Copilot for Finance and Dynamics 365 Finance

On his blog, Sandeep Chaudhury wrote about how AI empowers finance teams, drives efficiency, and helps boost customer satisfaction.

Chaudhury stated that there are two main experiences of Copilot for Finance in this release. One is in Outlook and the other one is in Excel. In his blog post, Chaudhury shared his experience with the finance Copilot in Outlook.

He offered a scenario – complete with screenshots – to explain how Copilot (AI) saves time for your accounts receivable team and finance team members and also makes them much more efficient.

Dynamics 365 Finance – Open in Excel error solution

On the Artic IT blog, John Wainwright wrote that recently many users have experienced issues with the use of Open in Excel templates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Supply Chain Management.

Wainwright noted that the issue may be related to a recent service update or an update to the Office add-in that causes a strange error when you try to use Open in Excel functions. Wainwright stated that the error you'll see in a standard pink ribbon is: "Please connect to the Internet to use Open in Excel."

Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO/SCM is a web-based service. Obviously…we’re connected to the Internet. So what’s the deal here? This error doesn’t make any sense.

Wainwright then pointed out that the error is actually with the Excel add-in itself. In his blog post, Wainwright provided a solution to fix this issue.
