Writing on the CloudFronts blog, Samruddha Medhekar stated that any accounting software should be able to facilitate currency conversions at the time of booking the transaction and also calculate the forex gain/loss incurred during the end of any period or after settlements are made against open transactions.

Medhekar stated that Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations offers a simple functionality to facilitate such transactions. Called foreign currency revaluation, Medhekar noted that this functionality benefits any accounting manager who wants to know any gain/loss that might incur before making actual payments and make important business decisions accordingly.

In his blog post, Medhekar explained how to set up and run the foreign currency revaluation functionality. He noted the process of running this functionality enables companies to determine the best time for making payments so they can benefit from currency exchange rates.

Power Platform with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

On the Encore Business Solutions blog, Ziad Paracha stated that Power Platform can be integrated with D365FO so users can automate processes, build solutions, and analyze data. In his blog post, Paracha explained how to create, share and manage apps, dashboards, flows, and more while understanding how best to use the Power Platform integrated with D365FO to support the business.

Paracha provided detailed information on the five main components of the Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages. He then explained how each of those components works with D365FO.

Subscription billing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance: A summary

Writing on the DynaTech Systems blog, Payal Oza noted that D365FO offers capabilities for subscription billing that enable companies to manage the entire subscription lifecycle from creation to invoicing and payment processing. Additionally, Oza stated that the accounts receivable feature in D365FO can track customer invoices and incoming payments.
