EY launches Tax Copilot with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service

EY announced that it has launched EY Tax Copilot, an AI-based education and enablement platform for its tax professionals around the world. Developed with Microsoft using Azure OpenAI Service, Power Platform, and other Microsoft apps, EY plans to use the platform to improve its other platforms such as EY Indirect Tax, EY Global Payroll Operate, and EY Global Tax Platform.

EY Tax Copilot will give end users a way to leverage Power Platform with EY accelerators, including EY Fabric, a tax platform used to analyze over one trillion lines of financial data a year.

Equipping our tax professionals with leading technologies, like Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service in addition to Microsoft Power Platform, is a critical step to putting EY Tax professionals in the driver's seat of transformation,” stated Marna Ricker, EY Global Vice Chair, Tax.
