As Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving and supporting demand generation and revenue operations. You will ensure the marketing team takes full advantage of our marketing automation platform, HubSpot, and will help to deliver and refine measurable marketing campaigns that produce highly qualified leads. In this role you will focus on performance optimization and will use data and customer insights to recommend strategies to achieve revenue goals. You’ll be responsible for building, scaling and effectively using our marketing technology stack in order to improve the operational efficiency of our marketing programs and team, as well as track all KPIs and reporting to prove marketing effectiveness and ROI. With a keen understanding of the lead-to-revenue marketing funnel, you’ll will drive performance with data analysis, providing actionable recommendations on how to optimize marketing programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Defines and manages marketing analytics that will measure all aspects of the marketing demand generation engine - e.g. full funnel view, campaign effectiveness, SLAs with sales and sales operations, overall business performance, database hygiene, and more.
- Develops consistent and reliable reports and dashboards representing performance from marketing efforts.
- Owns and operates the marketing tech stack, including operations, integrations, documentation, and optimization.
- Researches, evaluates, recommends, and implements tools and technology that will improve efficiency, support data integrity, increase deliverability, and perfect performance.
- Leverages existing and future vendor relationships (ZoomInfo, HubSpot and others) to support lead generation and other marketing and sales activity
- Ensures high level of data quality in HubSpot through maintenance of web forms, strict data import processes and proactive sync error prevention
- Documents key business processes, governance, and other best practices that will support Marketing growth
- Analyzes program results, lead to opportunity & deal conversion rates, cost per acquisition, ROI, and makes best practice recommendations
- Supports the continuous improvement analysis of our BDR function, with data-driven recommendations on how to improve BDR performance
- Act as a consultative arm to the marketing team by analyzing marketing and sales data and making recommendations on areas of campaign optimization
- Partner with stakeholder groups across marketing and sales to share insights and data.
- Optimize and automate a lead routing system for Sales reps.
- Design and optimize technology, systems, workflows, and standards for campaign planning and execution.
- Light web development skills in supporting HubSpot website updates and enhancements
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Marketing Ops in a B2B environment, preferably Tech or SaaS (Software as a Service)
- Experience with marketing technology such as automation, account-based marketing, and analytics platforms.
- Analytical thinker with experience in data management including confirming attribution models, implementing and perfecting lead scoring, scrubbing data to support data hygiene, and recommending data-driven marketing strategies to improve outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Lead Generation and Lead Distribution processes; includes understanding of Marketing campaigns and any other Demand Generation initiatives.
- Extensive understanding of architecture (e.g. page layouts, roles/permissions, queues, workflows, etc)
- Experience with HubSpot and familiarity with marketing attribution
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Strong analytic skills
